Remich – Bernkastel

If you would like to spend an enjoyable day on the river, a cruise from Remich to Bernkastel-Kues is just what you are looking for. After a gentle morning start, just lean back and admire the stunning panorama. Enjoy the relaxing atmosphere as you cruise past sleepy villages, many beautiful vineyards, rolling hills and forests. From your seat on board you can admire the wine-producing villages that lie on both banks of the river, the idyllic Moselle landscape and the fascinating locks. The trip passes a number of interesting sights, such as Schloss Buschland in Remich; ‘Ski Nautique’ in Ehnen, where a number of water sports are on offer during the summer; the ‘Wormerkoeppchen’ Chapel in Wormeldange, which can be clearly seen on the bank of the Moselle; stone sculptures, such as ‘the Hand’ in the village of Nittel; the only freight port in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg since the canalisation of the Moselle in 1964; the Palmberg nature reserve, which lies behind Ahn and where orchids and other exotic species flourish; the Igel Column; Konz, where the Saar flows into the Moselle; Trier – the oldest town in Germany; and much, much more.
At 12:00 we will serve you a three-course lunch.
When we reach Bernkastel, you can have a relaxing stroll through the pedestrian area, with its attractive and varied architecture, or perhaps take the opportunity to enjoy an ice cream or a coffee in one of the inviting cafés.
A coach will be waiting to take you back to your departure point.
